Treatments

How long does the treatment last for?
Our treatment will completely destroy all weeds present at the time of spraying, it does not prevent new weeds germinating. Multiple applications during spring, summer and autumn will keep the area completely weed free at all times.
What if the treatment doesn't work?
In the extremely unlikely event that our treatment fails to work or only partially works we offer either a free re-spray or a full refund (your choice). This offer is limited to 4 weeks after the failed treatment.
Do you provide lawn treatments?
No. We do not provide any services other than weed control on hard surfaces. For lawn treatments we suggest that you contact a specialist in lawn management.
Which weeds does your treatment work on?
We have a variety of treatments that will work on ALL weeds and grasses that are likely to be present in your hardstanding. We don’t not provide selective treatments.
How long does it take for the treatment to work?
This will depend on a number of factors including weed density, types of weed weather temperature and the time of year. Expect visible results in a few days and complete degradation within 3-4 weeks after treatment.

What surfaces can you spray?
We can spray onto any hardstanding surface including tarmac, slabs, blocks, gravel, soil or scalpings.
Can you spray in the wind / rain?
Our equipment allows for the very precise application of herbicides even in moderate winds. We are however unable to spray after recent rain or when rain is forecast in the next 2-3 hours. We will not attend your property in adverse conditions.
Do I need to move cars, trailers etc. off my drive?
It may be helpful, but not essential. Our equipment is such that we can spray under and around vehicles without too much difficulty.
Do you just spray the drive, or can you do paths, patios etc?
We can spray patios, paths etc. Paths that are connected to the drive will be automatically sprayed when we do your drive. If you have a patio and paths at the rear of your property that you wish for us to spray you should let us know either before or during our visit. There may be an additional charge for this service.
What time/s of year do you spray?
In order to keep your driveway completely weed free all year round it is likely that you will require a total of three treatments (Spring / Summer / Autumn). Whilst a single treatment will completely clear the weeds – additional treatments are required in order to manage re-growth.

Visits

Do I need to do anything after your visit?

No. Not at all – just enjoy your weed free drive.

How do I know when you are coming to spray?
You probably won’t. Whilst we keep our costs down by carefully planning our visits geographically, there are a number of factors (not least the weather) that prevent us from being able to provide accurate dates / times of our visits.
What if I am out when you come to spray?

Unless we require access to the rear of your property you don’t need to be in when we come. You will know when we have been because we will leave a card at you door.

Packages

Which is the best package for me?

That all depends upon your budget, circumstances and needs. If you want a one off treatment that’s fine – but remember that the weeds will return in time! You can arrange repeat treatments on an ad-hoc basis by contacting us when you need to – but that’s often like ‘shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted’. For the best results and all year round peace of mind, our ‘fully serviced’ service that includes 3 annual visits.

I am a tenant - Why would I use this service?
Hopefully you take as much pride in your rented home as if it were your own! You will also most probably find that your tenancy contract includes a clause that you maintain the garden and drive to a certain standard/s. By using our services you can be quite sure that you meet these standards and don’t get any horrible financial (DPS) surprises when you vacate the property. And of course it’s completely hassle free!
I am a Landlord - Why would I use this service?
Pride, value, goodwill and surety. As a landlord it is vital that you maintain your property to the highest standard. The driveway and entrance are the first thing that any perspective tenant will see and judge. Great tenants will of course take great care of your property and its amenities, but a 0.5% – 1% (typical) cost against revenue (or rental increase) is a small price to pay for absolute surety. As a landlord you could of course absorb the cost, but why not sell it as a ‘tenant benefit’ whilst protecting your own asett and re-rental values? It’s a no-brainer…

How do I pay for treatments?

We can accept payments in a number of convenient ways including cash on the day, Paypal, cheque, Bank transfer or by card over the telephone. Please see the booking page of the website for more information.

Why are your prices so low?
We work to a tight and efficient formula that utilises our own dedicated software to help us plan and streamline our operational functions and back-end support. This means that our operatives can concentrate on providing an exlemporary service without being overwhelmed by paperwork and planning. We also make a point of specialising in one thing – ensuring that we do it well!
Why do I not need a quotation first?
We keep our costs down by making certain assumptions and thus by avoiding the

hassle and expense associated with site visits and complicated quotation procedures.

Our fixed price packages assume that your driveway is no more than 200 square metres (most suburban drives are not). Also we don’t charge according to the weed type, coverage or density. We find that taking this flexible approach ultimately keeps our costs down. If you have a particularly large or long drive or wish for us to spray your patio and / or rear garden paths etc. then please let us know either before or during your visit.

How do I know that your operatives and materials are safe?
All of our staff are fully trained, qualified (To NPTC standards)and astute. We over comply with all regulations including COSHH. We can provide risk assesments, method and COSHH statements for all work completed on request.
What if I have a complaint?
We really do strive for perfection in every sense. In the unlikely event that you feel you have the need to make a complaint please telephone, email or write to us.
